  24. Screw!Bolt is some group founded by Raiden (and Falcon?) and we decided
  25. to release this demo as Screw!Bolt. Since Lazur has his own group
  26. affiliations and I (Technomancer) don't want to join any group, it
  27. doesn't seem there will be more Screw!Bolt demos at least until we'll go
  28. nuts again.

  33.     at least 386 (yep it'll run on 386, don't be surprised if you get 0.001 fps)
  34.     really 486 DX/4 100
  35.     recommended pentium 133

  37.  ■ memory
  38.    about 300 - 400 KB low memory
  39.    some high memory, it works on my 32 meg machine so who cares ?
  40.    well, really it runs also on 8 meg machine
  41.    i dont have 4 meg computer to check it :)
  42.    (well it works with 4 meg/xms on my notebook (without sound))

  44.  ■ SVGA with 320x200 16bpp (hicolor) VESA mode support
  45.    if you don't have 320x200 16bpp Big Mistake can use 640x480 16bpp -
  46.    - its slower but it surely works
  47.    in case you dont have SVGA or VESA bios you can use faked hicolor in
  48.    256 color mode, its even slower, and you will not see cool Lazur's
  49.    picture at the end
  50.  
  51.    univbe (or vesa 2.0) greatly helps and improves performance
  52.    also, when under dpmi 0.9 VESA 2.0 LFB is a must (or select
  53.    faked mode), so windows 95 users, better boot in dos mode
  54.  
  55.  ■ soundcard
  56.    its not a must but demo is more interesting with sound
  57.    Gravis Ultrasound is preferred but you can use also sb 2.0
  58.    sb pro, sb 16/awe. sound quality on sb is very poor because
  59.    my routines need some work.
